Squamous Cell Carcinoma is the second most common form of skin cancer. If left untreated, Actinic Keratoses can turn into Squamous cell carcinomas. They often occur as a red bump or scaly patch and are common on the ears, lips and face. They can get much larger and metastasize to the lymph nodes if left untreated. If detected early, squamous cell carcinoma has an extremely high cure rate. There are a few treatment options for this type of cancer.
