MD Forte Daily Skincare Regimen
Instructions
Using the MD Forte daily regimen for your dry, normal, oily, or acne prone skin will result in healthier, younger looking skin. Products are available in three glycolic compound strengths enabling you to “graduate” to a higher strength when you are ready. We recommend starting the program with the lowest concentration of glycolic compound for 3-4 months before progressing to the next level.
Do I Use Facial Cream or Facial Lotion?
There are several factors to consider when making the choice between using Facial Cream or Facial Lotion. One factor to consider is the thickness of the base and how the product will be used. Due to the thicker base of a cream it tends to offer more moisturization than a lotion. Therefore, creams are often preferred in colder, drier climates. Warm or hot climates, on the other hand, are more suitable for lotions. Lotions by nature are thinner and generally offer better compatibility with makeup or sunscreen. Many people prefer to apply lotions in the morning and creams before going to bed.
* Facial Cream: recommended for dry and normal skin. It is a glycolic acid product in an elegant, creamy base. Facial Cream is offered in three strengths: 15%, 20%, or 30% glycolic compound.
* Facial Lotion: recommended for normal, oily and acne prone skin. It is alcohol-free, oil-free and fragrance free in 15%, 20%, or 30% concentrations.
The last factor to consider is your own personal preference. Most often the decision to use a cream or lotion is dependent on the texture that you prefer. By using the products you are most comfortable with, you will enjoy the benefits of healthier, younger looking skin.
